Purpose
Selected local businesses are asked to provide a significant discount to iDeal$ members for their goods/services as an incentive to attract new or repeat customers. It is the merchant's generousity in the offers they provide that makes this program work for everyone. We encourage everyone involved to support the local merchants that help bring this program to your area.
Participation
Only a limited number of merchants are invited to participate in order to ensure the program is of high quality and does not over saturate a particular category of merchants. The iDeal$ discount offers that are provided to card members involve saving values rarely available to the individual customer (i.e. “cost +10%”). The significant savings to a card member is made possible by the fact that the marketing, advertising and sales costs involved to obtain the new customer is absorbed by the iDeal$ program and its participating not-for-profit groups/organizations.
Offers made available are typically reserved for the card member’s initial visit, although merchants may choose to extend their offer, and/or provide card members with other special “bonus savings” offers throughout the calendar year.
Usage
A valid iDeal$ membership card must be presented at the time of purchase. Once the offer is redeemed, the merchant will remove their “Merchant Number” from the back of the card.
Each merchant’s information, discount offer, and a map to their location(s) will be available on a printable page on the iDeal$ website (www.iDeals-card.com).
Internet Advertising
Participating merchants will also have the opportunity to provide iDeal$ members with special “bonus savings” advertisements throughout the year. These bonus savings offers will be created by the merchant and made available to iDeal$ members at no cost to the merchant. The bonus offers are provided as a way to allow card members the opportunity for additional savings through the program, as well as an inexpensive way for merchants to be able to entice iDeal$ members to make return visits to their business.
